We've just received a shipment of the 2012 MassHousing calendar, and in the spirit of the holidays, we've got some to share. This year's calendar was themed "My Healthy Home" and features drawings by young residents of MassHousing rental communities across the Commonwealth.
The calendar is organized and produced by our Community Services Department, which coordinates a number of programs aimed at improving the quality of life at MassHousing developments. This includes programs for residents, trainings for property management staff and conferences for housing professionals and advocates. You can learn more about the good work of our Community Services Department here.
Community Services also operates the Youth Resident Activities Program, or Youth RAP, which began in 1991 to address the lack of resources for young residents at seven MassHousing communities in Boston. Now offered statewide and year-round, Youth RAP provides educational support, part-time summer jobs, violence prevention, cultural education, youth leadership programs and recreational activities.
If you'd like a free copy of the calendar, email us. (Please note that quantities are limited, and requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.)
