If you haven’t seen it recently, CHAPA’s recently redesigned MassAccess: The Accessible Housing Registry, is worth a visit. Along with a larger database of affordable and accessible apartments, the site also features an simplified interface that makes searching available units much easier.
The site, which is funded by MassHousing and the Mass Rehabilitation Commission, provides vacancy and waitlist information for all affordable rental housing in Massachusetts, particularly for residents with disabilities. Property managers and owners can use the site to post available apartments and applications, and renters can customize and save searches or sign up for alerts. An automated mapping feature was also added.
