The kids aren’t the only ones about to go back to school. MassHousing's Community Services Department recently announced its fall schedule of management trainings offered through TAP, the Tenant Assistance Program.
TAP trainings promote communication, early intervention, conflict resolution, wellness and related concepts among housing staff, residents and other interested professionals. Trainings are free for staff of TAP member sites; anyone can attend with payment of a modest fee.
Trainings cover a variety of topics—from reasonable accommodations to hoarding to housing elders—and are held at sites across Massachusetts. Many courses meet HUD requirements for resident service coordinators and offer continuing education units for social workers.
